Title: Qiskit Runtime Primitives. Towards Integration of Qiskit with scalable Cloud resources and High-Performance Computing.
Abstract:
We will showcase the ideas behind Qiskit Runtime, namely the integration in existing Cloud & HPC workflows as well as optimal usage of quantum hardware, i.e. QPU time. This will be accompanied by a hands-on demonstration of how Quantum Developers can use and profit from the capabilities of Qiskit Runtime Primitives.

Abstract:
I will review some common issues faced when running on finite coherent quantum hardware, and highlight recent work demonstrating the improvement of quantum circuits through the implementation of pulse efficient circuits for different applications. I will also briefly discuss some common issues arising from working with real (and unstable) hardware and demo some tools which which can help implement error mitigation techniques in a user friendly manner.

Title: Materials science in the quantum age
Detail:
Intersection of materials science, machine learning (ML) and quantum
computing is attracting great attention from both industry and academia.
This is due to the maturation of machine learning methods, such as deep
learning, as well as advances in quantum physics, including the
development of simulation methods, improvements in computing power, and
progress in data availability based on new technologies of measurement
and analysis. Expectations are also rising for quantum computers, and
new R&D trends are emerging at the interface between quantum physics and
artificial intelligence.
In my talk, I will briefly introduce materials informatics, fundamentals
of quantum computing, and machine learning, and then touch recent topics
in their intersection, especially machine learning approach to quantum
many-body problem and machine learning on quantum computer. In addition,
AI-driven materials science will be presented as an outlook.
